This exhibition presents for the first time four 17th-century paintings commissioned by the Habsburg Ambassador Hans-Ludwig von Kuefstein after his diplomatic mission to Istanbul in the early 19th century, accompanied by 12 gouache works produced in the capital and now held in a collection in Austria.
